I went and walked myself like a dog without a leash. now i’m growling at a stranger, i am biting at their knees.

If I wanted it, you really think I’d wait for the permission? an independent portrayal of billy loomis, the first ghostface serial killer responsible for the 1996 woodsboro murder spree. For protection and assurances that all will be delivered? an upstanding high school student with an affinity for horror films and the tendency to lose his temper when he loses control.

I am spiteful like a god, seek a vengeance like the rest. for what they did to you, i will never lay to rest. It’s raw and unrelenting, it is absolute regression. It is vileness wrapped up and disguised as happy endings.

*   BIOGRAPHY,

BILLY LOOMIS, a long burning fuse with a sudden and volatile ignition. a clever boy with a talent for the execution of a plan. a part-time loner at woodsboro high school, preferring to float through friend groups instead of staying too long in one place. an occasional socialite, able to turn on the charm when it suits his interests. a control freak with a mean streak and a history of behavioural issues swept under the rug.born into a dysfunctional family, anger was the heirloom passed down from parents to their son. throughout his entire childhood, billy witnessed constant arguments and fights between his mother and his father. helpless and unable to control his home life, he internalized temperamental behaviours and began to show early signs of deviant behaviour: violence against other children in the schoolyard, exhibiting antisocial traits and developing a harsh exterior to shield himself from the harsher conditions waiting for him at home. believed to just be boyish attitude that could be beaten out of him, he was often disciplined by his father and punished for his aggression. but it did not erase his resentment for the world and the people in it — it only taught him how to hide it better.as he grew older, he began to dive into horror media as a form of escapism. it was easier to focus on the practical effects used within the films than to face a cruel reality outside of the screen. easier to watch jason vorhees jab an ice pick through alice hardy’s skull and wonder how it must have felt to have so much control over whether someone lived or died than to confront the horror story playing live in his own life. soon enough, his father’s infidelity was an unavoidable topic within their family — and the breaking point for nancy loomis, who took off shortly after discovering it.as his life spiralled into an even deeper pit of hopelessness, so did billy. his mother’s abandonment was the final push off of the edge after all of the years of anger and helplessness accumulating within his chest. someone had to pay for all of it, someone had to answer for all of the years spent waiting for something to change only for the same events to repeat themselves in a vicious cycle of abuse. that was when he encountered roman, who inspired him into finally taking control over his own narrative.murdering maureen prescott made him feel more powerful than he has ever felt in his entire life. schoolyard quarrels and fist fights were nothing, little tastes of violence that paled in comparison to the real thing. sick with anger and the sheer rawness of his adrenaline, he stabbed her dozens of times before he was satisfied. enough times to exhaust him, pouring all of that bottled up rage into her long—dead body. never has he felt more vulnerable, exposed like a nerve beneath the emotional toll of the act. pinning all of it on cotton weary was simple enough.all of it was just like the movies, and the killers had gotten away with it.but it would never be enough.that anger had sunk itself into him like a knife, irrevocable and irresistible. that urge to make someone pay, that hunger for revenge, had hollowed him out from the inside. resentment became as vital as breathing, an intrinsic element of his routine. without it, billy would not know who he is.a year later, that same hunger strikes again. who would he be if he let it go ?
